The story of EazyCapture started during our honeymoon in London.

We planned a trip, hoping to return with memories. What we didn’t expect was to return with an idea – one that would quietly start solving a problem hurting accounting practices everywhere.

What began as lighthearted coffee chats soon turned into deeper conversations. Stories of missed deadlines. Costly errors. Outdated systems draining both trust and time.

The more I listened, the clearer it became: these weren’t isolated issues. This was the daily reality for accountants and SMEs alike. Because these were honest conversations with peers and friends, the truth came out unfiltered – and it was eye-opening.

SMEs are the backbone of every economy, but their challenges are relentless:

When reporting fails, the impact is bigger than stress. It can mean non-compliance, loss of funding, or even business failure. One thing stood out in all those conversations: when SMEs strengthen reporting, they don’t just survive — they thrive. And that was the spark.

Coming from a background of building systems in Morgan Stanley for banks and insurers in the BFSI space, I thought — if technology can transform finance at scale, why can’t we use it to empower accountants and SMEs?

That’s how the idea connected.

From different paths, the same destination became clear: a tool built for accountants and SMEs, combining automation with accountability.

And that’s how EazyCapture was born – not just to keep up, but to help practices and businesses grow with confidence.

Meet The Team

Kunal combines a background in engineering with a deep understanding of accounting pain points to build automation tools that truly make life easier for accountants. With EazyCapture, his mission is to bring intelligence into bookkeeping. applying industry logic to understand why an invoice matters, where it belongs, and ensuring every document is context-checked, accurately categorised, and ready for your accounting system.

He often highlights how much effort in bookkeeping gets drained by the “pre-processing” side of the job – collecting documents, chasing missing ones, uploading, and matching them correctly. From his experience, the bulk of time goes here, while a fraction still left for the real technical work like journals, working papers, or trial balance prep. By tackling this long-standing bottleneck, Kunal is turning one of the most frustrating parts of practice life into one of the smoothest.

Avantika is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) who brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset to EazyCapture. Having built her accounting career across the UK and internationally, Avantika developed a first-hand understanding of the inefficiencies and frustrations that accountants face daily – and decided to do something about it.

As COO of EazyCapture, Avantika channels her professional experience into building a platform that truly speaks the language of accountants. Her background spans financial reporting, tax, and strategic advisory, giving her an intimate understanding of the workflows and pain points that practices of all sizes navigate every day. Her mission is simple: to make the lives of accountants easier, so they can focus on what matters most – their clients.

Having led commercial strategies across multiple continents and worked with Top 100 UK accountancy firms, Jon understands the evolving challenges practices face in managing client workflows and operational efficiency.

Throughout his career, Jon has consistently delivered market expansion and revenue growth by establishing strategic partnerships and driving customer acquisition in the accountancy sector. Jon brings a deep understanding of the unique needs of UK accountancy practices and focuses on empowering firms to work smarter, not harder, through EazyCapture’s innovative solutions.
